How To Play Casino War

Casino War is by far the easiest casino game to understand.  If you have ever played the War card game as a kid, then you pretty much already know how to play.  The object is to be dealt a card higher than the dealers.  If you do receive a higher card then you win a payout equal to your wager amount.  If you are dealt a lower card than the dealer, you lose your initial wager.  Very straight forward.  The only time Casino War requires any kind of gameplay knowledge is when you are dealt the same card as the dealer.

Going to War

If your card ties what the dealer displays you are given two options.

Option 1: Surrender to the dealer and forfeit half of your original wager.
Option 2: Go to War.  If you decide to go to war you must double your original wager.  It is important to note that the dealer does not match this added wager.  The dealer will then burn three cards and deal both of you a new card.  If your card is higher than the dealers you win both your entire wager back, plus the dealer pays out 1 to 1 on your original wager.  If you lose the war, you forfeit the entire wager.

At some casinos a tie after going to war will result in a bonus equal to the original wager.  Tie bets are also available and pay 10 to 1 if the first two cards tie, however this bet gives the house a huge edge.
